While most people use their Smart
Label Printer for producing addresses there are label sizes
available for specific items around the office that are
often labelled - including 3 1/2" floppy disks, zip disks,
DAT tapes, video cassettes (spines and faces), larger packages,
file folders and 35 mm slides. |

Everything you need to get started
is in the box - just make sure you have a spare plug nearby
and an available serial or USB* port on your PC (Note: USB
ports can only be used with Windows 98 (Version 2), Windows
NT 4 and all later versions of Windows). |

If some lines of your address are
slightly longer than the width of the label or if you are
using larger fonts, the Smart Label Printers shrink-to-fit
feature will automatically re-size the label so that all
your text appears in full ready for printing. |

The Smart Label Printer uses a special technology called
"direct thermal printing" which eliminates the need for
toners, cartridges or ribbons. |

Windows fonts can be mixed and matched
on the same label with the same ease as this is done through
packages such as Word for Windows. |

Smart Label Printers allow you to
print One Label or some other exact number of labels at
a time. They ensure you no longer have to worry about printing
a whole sheet of labels at a time where blank labels can
be wasted or perhaps end up stuck inside your desktop printer
if you re-run them through again. |

A Smart Label Printer is about the
size of a sellotape dispenser, it sits on your desk ready
to print labels within seconds of deciding you want one.
A feature called Smartcapture allows you to simply click
on an icon to print an address or other information directly
off the screen from standard applications such as Word for
Windows. |
